Inspired!

With Fuhu Inc. announcing their Inspire Special Needs Program to support research and generate awareness for autism, I thought I'd share some existing communication and visual scheduling apps that you and your child can trial and purchase today for the nabi Tablets.

I've compiled a sampling of what is available, based on app reviews, developer sites and what I perceived to be quality apps.  In the near future, I'll be expanding the list to include Emotion and Social Behavior apps, among others.

If you have any apps that your child loves to use and would recommend to other parents, please be sure to comment below.

A number of these apps should be now available under the nabi App Zone, you`ll just need to search for them there. If you have another Android device (smartphone, tablet) with Google Play on it, then you can easily sideload apps using one of three processes I`ve listed on my blog. AirDroid is the easiest if the other device is running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Thanks for the reply.
Will the Nabi App Zone ever have well know apps available such as Dora the Explorer, Thomas the Train, ect?
I am a little hesitant to give this for Christmas due to the lack of apps my kids have had on my IPad.
I love the tablet, however am still trying to find out if Google Play will ever be available or if Amazon will come to Canada? As of right now, we are a bit stuck with a tablet and no apps.

I did call Nabi, and I was a little confused be the gentleman who told me I can get google play if I watch the Fan a Tech video on Facebook....I have still not came across this

Thanks again,
